Jeyda's Wish

JEYDA was my second special needs bully and Mickey's other half.  The first picture is what she looked like when her rescue angels rescued her from the shelter.  The second picture is what she transformed into with a lot of tender loving care.  

The minute I brought her home, Mickey fell in love with her.  They were inseparable and lovingly referred to as Mr. & Mrs. Little since they were both small in stature. Baby J, as I lovingly referred to her, was the product of bad breeding and unfortunately passed away from complications caused by a hypoplastic trachea, on 7/31/13...she was just a few months shy of her second birthday.  She was with me for far too short of a time, but she changed my life forever.  She passed away on a Wednesday, so every Wednesday is now Jeyda Day on the Crews Facebook and Instagram pages.  

The day I lost Baby J I made her a promise that the suffering she endured prior to finding herself in rescue would not be in vain and that her legacy would live on.  That is how Jeyda's Wish was born.  JEYDA'S WISH is a fund that donates money to rescues that take a chance on special needs, hospice and senior cases.  The fund was created in November 2014, and is funded by our personal donations and the sales of The Padded Bum Crew merchandise.  Below you'll find a list of rescues I've been able to help so far.  Thank you for helping us paw it forward!
